Fly Catcher
A level, a clock and a swarm of flies. Fly Catcher is FreeOnlineGames' 2008 mouse game, and its screen states the whole task in one row: a level number, a score, a count of attempts and a timer counting down. The timer starts at 48 and drops while the flies move around the stage, so a round is a race between your own speed and the clock.\n\nA power bar sits under the playfield, and a Menu button beside the timer opens the wrapper's own panel. The movie's code names the rest: a running count of the flies currently on screen, a level time, a next level, and a score that goes to a nickname-and-score table at FreeOnlineGames. Miss too often and it says so plainly -- the game-over line is 'Darn, pesky flies!' -- and offers the board again.
