Jungle Swing

Jungle Swing sends the yeti up a tree one branch at a time. He hangs, swings back and forth, and a click of the mouse lets go: release at the top of the arc and he catches the next branch up, release early or late and the swing stalls and he drops back. Every branch remembers how often he has used it -- a green branch turns gold when he leaves it, gold turns red, and a red branch snaps off and grows three fresh green ones in its place. He starts with twenty-five branches and has to work his way up fifty to reach the top, so the trick is spreading the load across the whole tree rather than burning the nearest branch again and again.

It is the eighth game in Chris Hilgert's Yeti Sports, released in April 2005 and the first of the series' 2005 run after the 2004 games. Big Wave and Snowboard Freeride had given the yeti the water and the mountain; this one hands him a tree and asks only for timing.
