I.T. Kid

A top-down motocross race, three laps at a time. Mini Moto is FreeOnlineGames' 2007 racer, and it drops the rider onto a banked isometric circuit -- tyres, sand, grass and a finish gantry -- with the lap clock already running. The movie's own code names the shape of it: a CompMoto for the computer rider, a lib_level for each board (level1 through level7), lap_time_1, lap_time_2 and lap_time_3 beside a single lap_txt, and a Finishscreen_mc for the result.\n\nThe HUD is the race: the MINImoto wordmark top-left, the current lap time and the two laps still to come down the right, a MENU button in the corner, and the finish line drawn across the top of the screen. The title card behind it carries Game Instructions and a single START, and past START the circuit opens with the two bikes on the tarmac. It is a short, brisk arcade racer of the sort the portal arcades of its year were full of, and the tree's copy is the strongest kind of pick: the movie is byte-identical to the copy the Flashpoint Archive kept.
