I.T. Kid

Monster Truck Trials is a test course for a yard full of monster trucks. You are the factory's junior tester, and every machine has to be put through its paces over ramps, drops and broken ground before it is signed off.

The arrow keys drive the truck -- accelerate, brake and reverse, and rotate it in the air so it comes down on its wheels. Space fires a tank of nitro when a climb needs the extra push; S and M switch the sound and the music, and Q quits. Land flat and the momentum carries you on; land on the nose and the run slows.

It is the first of gameSheep's monster-truck games. Its sequel, Extreme Trucks I, sends the same machines out of the yard and across Europe.
