Push It

A Sokoban puzzle with a level editor behind it. Push It is FreeOnlineGames' 2009 take on the crate-pushing classic: you steer a single figure around a room and shove each crate onto its marked goal, one push at a time, with the room's own walls and the crates themselves as the only obstacles. The rules are the genre's own, and the game states them plainly when a board does not add up -- the same number of crates as goals, and at least one of each.

A row across the top keeps the running tally -- the level number, the crates still to place and the pushes spent -- so a room can be replayed for a tidier count. The editor beside the puzzle asks for the same pieces: one figure, some crates and the goals they belong on, with its own warnings when a board cannot be solved before it starts. The FreeOnlineGames wrapper around it is the only thing standing between the title screen and the first room.
