A firefighting plane, a forest fire and a bay full of water. Sky Firefighter is FreeOnlineGames' 2006 flying arcade game, and its loop is the one every water bomber runs: skim low over the water to fill the tank, climb to the blaze and open the drop, and keep the plane off the ground on the way back down. The tank empties with every drop and refills only at the surface, so a run is a chain of low passes between each attack on the fire.

Three strengths of fire burn on the slope and each takes its own soaking, and the instruments say the same thing the movie's own code does -- fire and water systems with their own strengths, a tank with a bar and a mask behind it, and a speed pointer beside them. The score is banked at the end of a run for the high-score board, and the FreeOnlineGames wrapper around it is the only thing between the title card and the fire.
