Snowboard Freeride
Snowboard Freeride sends the yeti down a mountain against ten racing penguins, and the race is only half of the score. The slope is long, the jumps are everywhere, and every ibex the board clips launches him into the air, where a held grab or a spin is worth points before he lands. Bump a penguin on the way down and it slows for a moment -- and then it comes back faster and crosser than before. Winning is a bonus rather than the aim: the run is scored on the tricks that land, so the good line is the one that takes every jump on the hill rather than the one that gets down first.\n\nIt is the seventh game in Chris Hilgert's Yeti Sports, from October 2004, and the second of the run to leave the penguin behind. Big Wave put the yeti on the water and Stage Dive put him on a stage; this is the one that gives him a whole mountain and a reason to show off on it.
