A swarm of alien bugs and a single ship with one gun. Space Bugs is FreeOnlineGames' 2009 arcade shooter, and it is the formation kind -- the movie's own code names the parts plainly, player ships and player shots against bug enemies and their shots, with a lives counter and a level counter above the score, and one of its scene labels is galagaMC, which is the shape it follows. The bugs come down and across in waves, their shots come back at you, and the aim is to clear a wave without losing the ship.\n\nSome bugs are worth a bonus when they are hit, and the wave keeps looping at you until the last of them is gone, when the next level begins and the score carries on. Lose every life and the game-over screen takes the score and asks for a nickname for the high-score board. It is a compact, bright browser shooter of the Space Invaders line, and the FreeOnlineGames wrapper around it is the only thing standing between the title card and the bugs.
