Youda Conqueror is a bubble shooter with a campaign wrapped around it. The board is the familiar grid of coloured balls and the shot is the familiar aimed, bouncing one -- match three and the cluster falls -- but clearing a board is only half the job: the colours you clear are the resources you gather, and the resources are what build the empire.

The campaign runs sixty-one levels across a map of the ancient world, with bonus boards between the set-piece battles, upgrades for your followers and a culture to raise alongside the army. The pace is unhurried and the aim is the point: line up the shot, take the whole cluster, and leave the board clean for the next one.

It is one of YoudaGames' puzzle games, and it wears its theme lightly -- a bubble shooter first and a history lesson never.
