Tetrix 2 is a falling-block puzzle: pieces drop into a well and the job is to pack them flat enough that a row fills and clears. Pack them badly and the tower reaches the ceiling, and the run is over.

A piece slides left and right, drops on command and moves diagonally as well as straight down before it lands, with the next piece shown in its own window so the packing can be planned ahead. A filled row scores, more than one at once pays a line bonus, and every level the pieces fall faster. A help bar runs down one side, score and level counters sit above the well, and three music tracks change as the levels pass.

It is Ultimate Arcade's, and its look is the Egyptian one the publisher gave it. Clear a long enough run and it asks for a name to put on the high-score table; fall short and it says so.
